For a while I got down to 1-2mg of Prednisone, by that time it had returned 90% to normal. More recently I got stuck back up at 20mg and it started to blow up again. But at 15mg (where I am at this moment) it's only a little noticeable.
It seems that it's a function of both the dose and the length of time on it. 40mg might blow you up right away, 20mg over weeks, and 15 over months. It's also known that the effects are not linear with dose (twice the dose has way more than twice the side effects).
